/Screw spaces for tabs/.  Set your editor properly and it is not a 
problem.  If you use tabs, anyone can format text the way it pleases 
them by changing the tab setting in their editor.

*MY* preference is for tabs, and if I had my way spaces would go.  :-) 

Have I made my point?
