Spell-checking is a nice feature to have, but not as important as a number of other security and usability features which have been tabled in the past. If we wanted to kick some serious butt, then a mid-edit spellchecker which kicks in while the user is typing would be very cool.. if editing was done with some java mini-app or the like. Or what about live updating.. the user types in the edit box, and a live version of the page/section is presented beside them.. the markup language is magically transformed to the page as they work. Within that there could be squiggly red underlines for spelling. Again, lots of cool ideas exist, but we need more direction..
