Changing /oop5/ to /oop/

Hi Docs Team!

With the removal of mentions of PHP 5 and changes specific to PHP 5 from
the manual, there hasn't been much discussion regarding what should be done
about the oop5 pages, since it seems a little silly to have the 5 as part
of the URL now. I was thinking that they could be renamed to oop, and oop5
would have a 301 redirect to their new location, so as to not break SEO and
such.

However! A point was brought up that I'm not familiar with because I'm not
a translator. Changing the pages from oop5 to oop will potentially affect
translations.

How can oop5 be changed to oop so that the impact on translators is very
minimal?

I'm also looking for feedback on the change from oop5 to oop, how does
other docs team members feel about it?
