Views Exposed Filters Not Setting URL Fragment

I am altering a view that someone else created and I noticed that the fragment (the part after the "?") with the exposed filters is missing from the URL even when values have been chosen. Does anyone have any idea where they went? -- [ Drupal support list | http://lists.drupal.org/ ]
