I have to say that while I really like the integration of the admin menu with themes, I was a little surprised to see how much the menu has been compressed to be narrow and deep rather than broad and shallow. It takes more clicks now to get things done using the menu. For instance here's the path and number of clicks to add a news feed to your aggregator: Old 4.1? and 4.2? versions Administer > News aggregation > Add new feed Total clicks: 3 Current 4.3 RC Administer > Content > Syndication > RSS/RDF > new feed Total clicks: 5 While I like the idea of organizing the admin menu to make it narrower, I think the site map / admin hierarchy feature needs to return so that administrators can see a tree of all admin menus and get to the task they want to perform in less clicks. Any opinions on that? Maybe the site map is just not integrated with the new menu yet? -Michael -- [ Drupal user list | http://list.drupal.org/ ] [ http://lists.drupal.org/options/drupal-user/gcpdu-drupal-user%40gmane.org ]
