Copying the list back in, as this should benefit everyone who is ever in 
a similar situation as you. Please reply back to the list to maintain 
the thread.

You didn't say what steps you were going through, but I assume you were 
following the official Laravel guide?

Looking at your project, it appears that you're currently on version 7, 
but from your error messages, it looks like you're jumping to version 
12? Is that correct?
