Is PEAR still full in use with PHP 5.6 ?

I am writing to this mailing list, in order to find out, an technical
point, i cant find.

I have to change PHP lagnuage's version to 5.6, for my php/mysql build
Web site, with my Internet hosting. 

Some script are using PEAR, and I was wondering if this change, will
occur an error or not?
