Can you please reply to the mailinglist, and no you are not getting on my nerves, I really do think you have a old copy of install.php If you have MDB2 installed than you 100% have the Manager.php file, even tho it's deprecated, but we have never used that in our install.php, we have always used MDB2_Schema.
