The thing is that I have screwed up my pear-installer and I am not very fond of putting time into restoring it right now. About the installer magic - isn't it just that the LiveUser.php is moved into the PEAR-base dir whereas the Admin.php is moved into the LiveUser-dir and the LiveUser_Admin directory is renamed to Admin and moved into the LiveUser-dir? I.e. standard pear install.... I am also completely sure that the correct files are run since it is easy to test with some die()-flags. I am about to dive into the mapUser-method to see what is going on. Anything special I should be looking for? //jan ____________________________________________ Jan Bolmeson, Civilingenjör epost: ([email protected]) mobil: 0735 12 86 18 | Digitalt visitkort (vCard) Fernebrant & Ivtaco Mediaproduktion Kristianstadgatan 41B | 214 35 MALMÖ tfn: 040 30 11 88 | http://www.ivtaco.se -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Lukas Smith Sent: den 20 juni 2005 18:07 To: LiveUser-DevList Subject: Re: [LiveUser] checkRight function on the LiveUser object Jan Bolmeson wrote: > What do you mean with: > > "You do install the package from CVS? its not enough to run the examples > inside your CVS dir!"?? > > I downloaded the latest CVS version and then moved it into my PEAR-lib, > replaced old files, and then ran the new tests and class-files. The user was > "admin". The results of the other users are in the previous email... Hmm well moving might not work, since we have some installer magic that installs files in different places. However I dont think thats our problem. Just to be sure: pear upgrade -f [cvs_dir]/LiveUser/package.xml regards, Lukas Smith [email protected] _______________________________ BackendMedia www.backendmedia.com [email protected] Linn Zwoch Smith GbR Pariser Str. 44 D-10707 Berlin Tel +49 30 83 22 50 00 Fax +49 30 83 22 50 07 _______________________________________________ LiveUser mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.21st-hq.de/mailman/listinfo/liveuser
