Preventing error message on initial forceLogin

Hi there, I have issues when loading the login page without actually 
being forceLogin. The error message displays

Cannot authenticate, username/password is probably wrong


even though i havent entered the restricted area which returns to the 
login page, any ideas how to prevent this ?
