I just fixed two issues in CVS:

1) login() did not work unless you were using the optional is_active 
field .. which effectively made it a required field
2) in the client permission container with the MDB and MDB2 container 
when using aliased field names could lead to improper data types being 
passed to MDB/MDB2

expect a release tonight that fixes these issues.
