The first may be a problem > (speak up now if you would be affected), the second I dont think we have > to worry about :-) Well I for one would be affected since I unsubscribed from pear-general well over 1-2 years ago and do not plan on subscribing again :) Not that I answer many user questions (or any at all) but the noise ratio on pear-general is just overwhelming, at least back when I was subscribed and I really doubt it has changed. Tho using pear-dev for dev discussion is fine by me and rather logical, it's anyway rather confusing at times when we have user and dev discussion at the same place (for LU I mean) What we could do is to keep private MLs (user and dev separated) but relay them to pear-(general|dev) and also have a some sort of script to catch emails that mention LiveUser/LU and relay them to those private lists. Very ugly solution but it will both allow for exposure but at the same time gives us the privacy some people need. - Helgi
