Just in case anyone else has this problem:
Downgrading to MDB2-2.0.0beta5 and MDB2_Driver_mysql-0.1.0 seems to fix
this issue. I guess I'll need to report it to the MDB2 maintainers.

I still don't get why it works fine on my Linux machine, and not on the
Windows server.

Oh well.
