Hi! I'm using PHP 5.0.3/Linux with Smarty 2.6.7. It seems that enabling mbstring (default configuration) crashes Smarty compiler without any explanation whatsoever (no error message printed). I have not been enable to pinpoint the exact problem but recompiling PHP without --enable-mbstring solves the problem. Seems like Smarty is still a looong way towards PHP5... (no I'm not talking about E_STRICT or iterators here) Hendy Irawan, GaulDong - http://dev.gauldong.net -- Smarty Development Mailing List (http://smarty.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
