Fault: Code: 104 Reason 'XML error: not well-formed (invalid token)

I am Korean.
I have a problem with struggling.
May I ask you a question.
I am developing a program with PHP and XML-RPC.
I tested UserLand state name server test program.
It was well done.
But , If sending and receiving data changed , then a fault occured.
The change is like as "Alabama" to "Œ由щ留ˆ".
As It changed like as english language data to korean language data.
Thus I thought It's May be encoding problem.
I changed "xmlrpc.inc" line 92 $xmlrpc_defencoding="UTF-8";
to $xmlrpc_defencoding="euc-kr";  and $xmlrpc_defencoding="ksc5601";
but two case was generated below Warning.

And I changed to $xmlrpc_defencoding="ISO-8859-1" ;
 and $inAr=array("œ媛••" => 24, "Edd" => 45, "Joe" => 37, "Fred" =>
27);
in agesort.php program.
As "Dave" to "œ媛••" .
Then it results like as

line 10'
