(OT sort of)SMS using PHP

Hi all,

This is my first post so I should really start by saying thanks because, I
have found a lot of the archive material very useful.

I am trying to find a program that will connect to an SMS gateway (not sure
which one yet, any thoughts?) and send me a message whenever I get an email.
I have pretty much got the section where my php program (being called every
5 mins as wget on a cron job) checks my mail but I am a bit lost as to how
to get from there to a text message to my mobile.

If anyone has any advice I'd be really grateful.
