Hi,

If this bug has already been reported to you, please ignore this mail.

The Gentoo bug report is here:

http://bugs.gentoo.org/269638

From what I read here, the bug is waiting for a fix upstream:

http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-767762.html?sid=bed719e1df7d350880769c9dabc7c018

"Anyone using the new build environment will be affected, since this is a build bug in app-text/a2ps. In older build environments, the bug went unnoticed because the system headers happened to include the required file. Now they do not, and a2ps does not either, so the definition is simply missing.

Technically, this is a bug in the upstream package, not in the ebuild. Portage lists the homepage for app-text/a2ps as http://www.inf.enst.fr/~demaille/a2ps/. Strangely, that homepage says the latest version is 4.13, but everyone reporting problems is reporting with version 4.14. After some searching around on the homepage, it appears that they only accept bug reports via e-mail. As such, it is not possible to tell whether anyone has reported this build failure to them."
