Text wrapping doesn't work with a2ps 4.14

With a2ps 4.14 as delivered with Slackware64 13.37, text wrapping does 
not occur with a command line like this:

a2ps -1 -r -l 40 -o file.ps file.txt

where file.txt has a line longer than 40 characters.
