    GNU a2ps 4.13

The latest release on ftp.gnu.org is 4.14.  You might try that.

    As root: testbox# a2ps --list defaults
    As root: a2ps --list ppd
    ...
    Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Both those commands do work for me (don't know why), but a seg fault is
never an acceptable action :).
