a2ps: cannot find file `level1.ppd': No such file or directory

Hi,

I have compiled a2ps on a SCO Openserver 5.0.5 box and when I run make 
check I am seeing the error
a2ps: cannot find file `level1.ppd': No such file or directory

After installing in th /usr/local directory and running a2ps from the 
/usr/local/bin directory I als get the same error.

Can anyone tell me what is possibly wrong with the configuration ?
