a2ps 4.14 / make failing

Hello,

I'm compiling the a2ps 4.14 package on a SPARC Solaris 2.6 workstation 
using gcc 4.0.3 and I get the following error..  However, I'm unable to 
spot any syntax errors or find any info for a fix.  I'm assuming this is 
my stupidity and I'm hoping you can point me in the correct direction..
