At this point is looks like changes in the add-on filters (Ghostscript,
Xpdf/poppler, etc.) are causing your problems - the data is going to the
printer OK, but it is having trouble interpreting the PostScript.

I'd start with Ghostscript since that is what is getting used to convert
PDF to PS.
