Printer status/queue applet consistently pops up for alerts for printer
which are no longer present

errors - out of ink (resolved months ago)
errors - waste tray full (resolved a week ago)

printer prints fine regardless of messages.  Unsure if this is a cups,
printer specific, or kde bug.

cups 1.4.8, kde 4.8.1, Gentoo Linux, Xerox c2424 printer connected via ipp
