[CRIT] STR #4174: OpenSUSE 12.2 RC1 only prints PS files

OS: OpenSUSE 12.2
Connection: USB or network

Steps:
1. Install a PS-capable printer using a generic PS PPD printer driver
2. Print any PDF, text, or image file.
3. Observe.

Expected behavior:
- the printer must be able to print these file types

Actual behavior:
- no printout comes from the printer, but when printing a PS file the
problem does not occur.
