[STR New]

I am using Arch Linux, 64 bit using blackbox. I have the HP M1005 multi
function printer connected via usb. I have installed the hplip,
hplip-plugins packages from Arch's repositories. I am using Cups 1.6.1.

The problem is cups does not detect the printer even though both hp and
the usb backends detect it.

The output of /usr/lib/cups/backend/hp is

direct hp:/usb/HP_LaserJet_M1005?serial=KJ2SR56 "HP LaserJet M1005" "HP
LaserJet M1005 USB KJ2SR56 HPLIP" "MFG:Hewlett-Packard;MDL:HP LaserJet
M1005;CLS:PRINTER;DES:HP LaserJet M1005;SN:KJ2SR56;

The output of /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb is

DEBUG: list_devices
DEBUG: libusb_get_device_list=7
DEBUG2: Printer found with device ID: MFG:Hewlett-Packard;MDL:HP LaserJet
M1005;CMD:ACL;CLS:PRINTER;DES:HP LaserJet M1005;FWVER:20070302; Device
URI: usb://HP/LaserJet%20M1005?serial=KJ2SR56&interface=1
direct usb://HP/LaserJet%20M1005?serial=KJ2SR56&interface=1 "HP LaserJet
M1005" "HP LaserJet M1005" "MFG:Hewlett-Packard;MDL:HP LaserJet
M1005;CMD:ACL;CLS:PRINTER;DES:HP LaserJet M1005;FWVER:20070302;"

However, I cannot add the printer through the web interface. Is
the problem due to the mismatch in the the two outpus above?
