[cups-devel] auth pass through

Hello,

 

I have to communicate with a special printer which insists on user
authentication (basic) against its own configuration.

That is, it expects CUPS to collect the credentials (name, password) and
pass it to the printer without further interpreting them.

 

How can I tell CUPS to collect the credentials and pass them to the backend,
together with the document to process?
