[STR Resolved] You can't pause a printing job in the sense of resuming the job mid-page - that level of functionality is not supported. CUPS does not support the Suspend-Current-Job operation. You can pause and resume the printer (IPP_OP_PAUSE_PRINTER and IPP_OP_RESUME_PRINTER) which will abort a printing job and restart printing from the beginning when the printer is resumed.
