Time stamp image when converted

I'm kind of new to ghostscript.  Can someone tell me where I can go or how
to timestamp an image when converting it's format?  Something like pcl to
pdf or pcl to tif would be nice. As well as ps to pdf or ps to tif format
within Unix.
