Thank you, Ken. I’ll continue to work at this, and will file a bug report.

For the purposes of this project, I don’t need to parse a command-line parameter: this build of pcl6 will be used for only one purpose, so the nopdfscaling option can be built into the source code that I use to build it. That should make things simpler, I hope.
