In short:
Up to now it seems Ghostscript 9.20-rc1 works o.k.

Details:

It works for me on openSUSE Leap 42.1 but I only tested printouts
on a monochrome PCL laser printer Brother HL5150D via the Ghostscript
devices cups, ljet4, pxlmono, hl1250, and ijs (with IjsServer=hpijs)
where Ghostscript is called by cups-filters-1.8.2 filtering programs.

Since yesterday I provide Ghostscript 9.20-rc1
in the openSUSE build service development project "Printing"
https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/Printing
for several openSUSE and SUSE Linux Enterprise versions
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/Printing/ghostscript

Up to now I got no issue report that something does no longer
work with Ghostscript 9.20-rc1 which indicates there are
no obvious issues with it that affect basically any user.

Unfortunately I am unable to tell how many users actually
downloaded and installed Ghostscript 9.20-rc1 up to now
on their openSUSE and SUSE Linux Enterprise systems, cf.
http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-packaging/2015-03/msg00050.html
so that I cannot prove that Ghostscript 9.20-rc1 really works well.

Kind Regards
