Hi Chris,
successfully compiled ghostscript-9.22rc on CentOS (5.11).

Executing this:
//path_to_bin/bin/gs -dMaxBitmap=500000000 -sDEVICE=pngalpha -q
-dTextAlphaBits=4 -dGraphicsAlphaBits=4 -dUseCropBox -r390.1x390.1
-dFirstPage=1 -dLastPage=3 -o "/path_to_outfiles/Page_%04d_.png" -dSAFER
'/path_to_infile/3_pages.pdf' 2> /dev/null/

using 9.20 i got:
/Page_0001_.png//
//Page_0002_.png//
//Page_0003_.png/

same document, but trying 9.22 i get:
/Page_0001_.png//

/Both Versions compiled ( /./configure --without-x/ )and executed at
same place.

Thanks and best wishes
Wilfo
