The point of the post was that being parallel to Resources and lib
might affect whether anything was effectively overriding your patch.

I *did* have access issues of some sort when they were first added due
to where they are, which is why I made that suggestion back then.

But it has been so long I do not recall exactly what said issues were,
and so cannot guess whether they remain.
