Good news!

Previously I added c:/windows/fonts to the compile-time GS_LIB,
or GS_LIB_DEFAULT. That was my mistake. This time I changed it
to C:/Windows/Fonts. Now
gswin32 article9.ps
works fine without any problem.

I believe that there are not "case" problems for Windows.
Previous error was caused by my mistake.
