I'm pleased to announce the availability of our first source release, jbig2dec v0.1. It's now minimally functional, and since the current crop of encoders don't seem to be very agressive may in fact be useful in certain circumstances. Hopefully this release will encourage people to try it out and send us files that don't work. :-) We have both a source release and an binary for MS Windows, courtesy of Russell Lang. The releases are available from sourceforge: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jbig2dec/jbig2dec-0.1.tar.bz2 http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jbig2dec/jbig2dec-0.1.tar.gz http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jbig2dec/jbig2dec-0.1.zip And from my home directory on casper: http://casper.ghostscript.com/~giles/jbig2/jbig2dec/jbig2dec-0.1.tar.bz2 http://casper.ghostscript.com/~giles/jbig2/jbig2dec/jbig2dec-0.1.tar.gz http://casper.ghostscript.com/~giles/jbig2/jbig2dec/jbig2dec-0.1.zip SHA1 hashes: SHA1(jbig2dec-0.1.tar.bz2)= 7977d71b86c9a99cd48090719ce8806340d67876 SHA1(jbig2dec-0.1.tar.gz)= 3cc6f7db62a0e958b3e576c9728dac5a05271fce SHA1(jbig2dec-0.1.zip)= 8134f952c8e00e4a218872afba30ffb51a3979d0 MD5SUMS and the above SHA1 hashes are available in the directory on casper. The release is also tagged as 'release_0_01' in cvs. Have at, -ralph
