Please explain more about this patch :

1. Why don't use stderr redirection in command line instead implementing the
new feature ?

2. With the new feature, what happens if the target device of the bbox
device handles -dOutputFile ?

Please note that your change to Devices.htm reads "Since v. 8.11".
To be updated since it goes after 8.11 .
