    Memory squeezing fix in pl_load_tt_font.
    
    Fix SEGVs due to memory failures while loading a tt font.
    
    Error created using :-
    MEMENTO_FAILAT=1402 ./membin/gpcl6 -sDEVICE=ppmraw -o /dev/null
                                                        ./pcl/examples/owl.pcl
    
    Tweaked version of a commit from Shelley.
