Differences in all devices errors using gs/examples files Previous Revision: 9cb169b6b260f650aac2c3c7ed7af0f345ee0707 Current Revision: 891ea7d2813edaa3c7c874a4053afdda128e8a10 commit 891ea7d2813edaa3c7c874a4053afdda128e8a10 Author: Chris Liddell <[email protected]> AuthorDate: Thu May 17 07:35:02 2018 +0100 CommitDate: Fri May 18 13:17:15 2018 +0100 Fix for small glyph distortion Glyphs with very few pixels (i.e. lower case "i" in 9pt text rendered at 72dpi) we being distorted due to the specific rules applied by Freetype's dropout compensation. This isn't a full solution but resolves the change in behaviour between 2.7.x and 2.9.x (the change was due to different rounding being applied). This fix is from upstream: http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/freetype/freetype2.git/commit/?id=f1458d2e44d8 So should be in future Freetype releases, and not need re-applied here. freetype/src/base/ftobjs.c new errors: errors that went away: === ghostpdl/examples/alphabet.ps === display === === ghostpdl/examples/annots.pdf === display === === ghostpdl/examples/colorcir.ps === display === === ghostpdl/examples/doretree.ps === display === === ghostpdl/examples/escher.ps === display === === ghostpdl/examples/golfer.eps === display === === ghostpdl/examples/grayalph.ps === display === === ghostpdl/examples/ridt91.eps === display === === ghostpdl/examples/snowflak.ps === display === === ghostpdl/examples/text_graph_image_cmyk_rgb.pdf === display === === ghostpdl/examples/text_graphic_image.pdf === display === === ghostpdl/examples/tiger.eps === display === === ghostpdl/examples/transparency_example.ps === display === === ghostpdl/examples/vasarely.ps === display === === ghostpdl/examples/waterfal.ps === display === errors that are not whitelisted:
