On OpenIndiana/OmniOS, groff-1.24.1 aborts when called with
option -man:

$ groff -man

Assertion failed: context != DELIMITER_GROFF_EXPRESSION, file
/jenkins/jobs/oi-userland/workspace/components/text/groff/groff-1.24.1/src/roff/troff/input.cpp,
line 2887, function is_usable_as_delimiter
groff: error: gtroff: Aborted (core dumped)

It also aborts if an input file is given (the contents of this
file plays no role).

The problem also occurs with

$ groff -m man

This problem appeared due to a recent upgrade and did not 
occur with the earlier version 1.23 of groff.
