The man page should be clarified with respect to .x and .y, in that GNU
troff _gives them semantics_.

All versions of CSTR #54 that I have:
	Ossanna 1976
	Kernighan 1981
	Kernighan 1982

...document .x and .y identically as follows.

	.x	Reserved version-dependent register.
	.y	Reserved version-dependent register.
