On FreeBSD 15.0, with option --without-urw-fonts, I still see the compilation
error from last time:

This is now fixed in the gnulib 'master' and 'stable-202601' branches.

With this fix applied, there is only one failure:

It's the same as on OpenBSD. We have already discussed it.
