I seldom fail to fail at that.  Trying again.

Also I have a tweak to the groff_man(7) and groff_man_style(7) pages
pending, and expect to ship this tweak in groff 1.24.1 this weekend.

    * They reset the adjustment mode to the configured default.
    * The default font style is not configurable (via the macro interface).

The page layout is extremely tight at this point.  One more line in that
paragraph and the groff_man(7) document grows by an entire page in U.S.
letter paper format, and consequently the whole groff-man-pages.pdf
collection.

Some day I hope to get the word "mode" back in there.
