 					Call for Participation
Workshop on Recent Developments in Runtime Verification Techniques

					September 16, 2011
University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands

Runtime verification techniques are introduced to check the correctness of
software in its actual execution environment, where changes in the states of
software are checked against its formally specified properties. If any
failure is detected, diagnosis and recovery actions may be carried out to
identify the causes of the failure and to heal the software, respectively.
The complexity of the today's software amplifies the need for employing
runtime verification techniques. In this workshop we discuss the recent
developments within this area including the practical applications and the
use of aspect-oriented languages in implementing these techniques. The
workshop consists of six presentations from the world authority experts in
this topic. At the end of the workshop, a discussion will take place
involving the presenters and the audience.
