Hi Gayathri, There are many UML based design approaches that support AO concepts. A comprehensive survey of these can be found at http://www.aosd-europe.net/deliverables/d11.pdf. Details of an integrated AO design approach (that follows the best practice in this area) that is UML 2.0 compliant and defined as a UML 2.0 profile is described in http://www.aosd-europe.net/deliverables/d38.pdf.
