You can find a bounded buffer example, implemented in Java, with
aspects implemented in AsepectJ, AspectWerkz, and COOL (a
domain-specific aspect extension for expressing coordination of
threads), in a paper entitled "Pluggable AOP -- Designing Aspect
Mechanisms for Third-party Composition":
