Re: Java project to AspectJ

Hi,

AJHotDraw is a "by hand" refactoring of a number of
concerns identified in JHotDraw. Although I haven't
used elaborate refactorings, Dave's observation is
valid --  imo, this is mainly because there is not
much done on general solutions (i.e., kind  of pattern
refactoring-solutions) for “common” crosscutting
concerns. As a matter of fact, there is very little
about a categorization of such common crosscutting
concerns, which, in my opinion, would be very useful
for both mining these concerns and consistently
refactoring them.
