Thanks for your mail and ofcourse the link you have sent. The paper that you have referred to would really be useful to me in my Research Work.
I am doing my PhD Work in this area. But I am unable to download the eCos Kernel Source Code from the Internet. Will you please be kind enough to sent me a link from where I can download the Source Code of eCos.

our group already refactored an OS kernel by means of AOP. The results 
have been presented at EuroSys 2006 Conference. The paper is available 
the EuroSys 2006 Conference web site 
(http://www.cs.kuleuven.ac.be/conference/EuroSys2006/papers/p191-lohmann.pdf). 
We refactored the kernel of the eCos-Operating System. The kernel is 
implemented in C++ and therefore we used AspectC++ for this case 
study.
