Hello, In my thesis, we have developed a similar approach to testing aspect compositions using statecharts, tailoring its notation to aspects. This approach consists of a method, an extended model to represent dynamic behavior of aspects and a testing tool prototype. As we have published in the I Workshop on Testing Aspect-Oriented Programs at AOSD-05, the main focus is to test relationships among aspects, based on their compositions. More detailed papers about this research and its results are being submitted.
