AspectJ vs Composition filters

Dear All
   
  I am novice to AOP technologies. I am looking for the strengths or weaknesses of AspectJ over other AOP approaches. What I wanted to know is what are the problems that can be solved by AspectJ and not by Composition Filters (Implemented by ComposeJ) or the other way round?
   
  Any example, any material on this or any comparative study already done on it, will be appreciated.
