Hello,
=A0
=A0=A0 This question is for general discussion. I was sitting at work durin=
g=A0after hours pondering stuff and surfing the net, and remebered that I w=
as on your mailing list. I have not spent the time that I should reviewing =
AOP, AOSD, and AspectJ. Life and work have not allowed, however, I read man=
y on the seminal articles and am absolutely fascinated at this maturing for=
m of SOC.
=A0
=A0 I am only am amater mathematician lacking any savviness or sophisticati=
on. If it cannot be proven by direct proof, I am often baffled, and do not =
ask a three column proof of me. However, in my reading of many of the early=
AOP papers, I sense that aspects solve a topological problem and that SOC =
is uniquely an issue of resolving concern geometries.
=A0
=A0As I said I am horrible at the concrete mathematical details, however, I=
can happily philosophise and wave my hands all day. Aspects effectively un=
link concern geometries which interfere with each other by providing anothe=
r logical dimension. However, it seems they cannot only interfere with each=
other as links in a metal chain do. They can also share some of the same s=
ubstance such as the twist of a breaded pretzel of glazed donut. Would anot=
her logical dimension that allows for the proper encapsulation and sorting =
of this common concern substance when needed be of any benefit?
=A0
Thanks for your time, I hear a large eclair calling my name.
