The Mexican International Conference on Computer Science is one of the
most important
scientific actions of the Mexican Society on Computer Science (SMCC).
It promotes the
publication of scientific results of the international community
related to applied and
fundamental research on Computer Science. Today, Computer Science has
enlarged its
horizons and it is practiced under multidisciplinary contexts that
introduce new challenges to
theoretical and technical approaches. In this sense, the conference
provides a main scientific
track but also workshops and tutorials on emergent and hybrid topics
and technologies.

SCIENTIFIC TRACK
This track will address topics concerning these issues focussing on
issues concerning human
computer interfaces, algorithmic, data management and exploitation and
distributed
systems. Authors are invited to submit original works on relevant

processes and modelling, software architectures, quality and metrics,

This year the conference will open a space for an industrial track for
practitioners willing to
report interesting experiences in developing solutions and systems in
the industrial arena.
The Industrial, Applications, and Experience Track covers innovative
commercial
implementations, novel applications of technology, and experience in
applying recent
research advances to practical situations, in any of the following areas:

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Research papers

Authors are invited to submit full papers (12 pages, IEEE style) to
this topic according
to the conference schedule. All accepted full papers will be published
in the IEEE
conference proceedings and a selection of papers will be published in
a recognized
journal with ISSN registration.

Industrial, Applications, and Experience Papers

Full papers or extended abstracts must be submitted electronically,
using the conference
management tool. In particular, each paper must be formatted according to
the
conference's camera-ready format (IEEE style) and the page length is
restricted to at
most 12 pages.

VENUE

French poet Andr=AE Breton famously called Mexico the surrealist country
par excellence, and
Mexico City, the capital seems to revel in its strangeness. The
world's third largest urban
area (by some estimates) fills a highland basin 2240m above the sea
level, so you might
already feel a bit light-headed upon arrival. The city impresses
visitors as a wonderfully
weird and welcoming world, and captivates them with its year-round
spring-like climate,
bubbling street life and abundant cultural offerings.

ENC 2009 will profit from the cultural opportunities offered by Mexico City
